FIVE FORKS MIDDLE SCHOOL'S FLL ROBOTICS TEAM, THE PARALYZERS, GO TO STATE COMPETITION AT GEORGIA TECH!Five Forks Middle School's FLL Robotics Team, The Paralyzers, competed in two competitions in order to move forward to the State Competition. In October 2010, the first competition was the Qualifier at Creekland Middle School; the Paralzers won the 2nd place trophy for Teamwork . They were also in the top 14 and moved forward to the Super Regional. The Super Regional was held at Creekland Middle School in January 2011. The Paralyzers walked away with the 3rd Place Champion's Award. Since they placed in 3rd place at the Super Regional, they moved on to Georgia Tech on January 29, 2011 for the State Competition at Georgia Tech. The Paralyzers had a great day and won the 1st place Overall Core Values Trophy.
The Paralyzers consisted of 7th and 8th graders. Their team included Robert Chandler, Samantha St. Germain, Russell Conklin, Kevin Tian, Brendon Machado, Shubham Gupte, Selina Cui, Nick Freeman, Gabe Morris, and Cameron Gwynn. They were coached by Five Forks Middle School's Engineering and Technology Teacher, Lisa McCreary.

State 2- Five Forks 7th grade Paralyzer members, Brendon Machado, Selina Cui, and Shubham Gupte with their coach, Ms. Lisa McCreary.
Robotics 2010 092 – Five Fork’s Paralyzers with Dr. James Roman. Dr. Roman was their expert in the field of scoliosis. Scoliosis was their topic for the project portion of the 2010 Body Forward Challenge.
