|GRAYSON TECHNICAL EDUCATION PROGRAM|
The Grayson Technical Education Program offers exciting and innovative courses of study for all students in Gwinnett County. At Grayson you will find opportunities beyond those found in other high school classrooms. Our instructors are experts in their industry, with years of education and professional experience to share with you. Many of the programs offer internships and apprenticeships. You may be able to earn college credit or advanced placement through articulation agreements with postsecondary technical colleges and universities.
Grayson students in selected programs may participate in regional, state, and national competitions through the national nonprofit SkillsUSA. This organization teaches you leadership skills, teamwork, and character development.
The Work-Based Learning program provides you with opportunities to work in your anticipated career field through cooperative education, internships, and/or apprenticeships, applying knowledge and skills from the classroom to real-life situations in the workplace.
Register for the Grayson Technical Education Program through your local high school registration process. Open house events are held each winter prior to class registration. You are responsible for your own transportation.
The Grayson Technical Education Program will give you an unparalleled opportunity to explore these industries and gain real-world experience prior to going to college or joining the workforce.
