Phoenix is the school that you wish to attend full time and you are not a 7th period student.

New Parent/Student Orientation

We are excited to offer a number of New Parent/Student Orientations for students interested in attending Phoenix full-time. Any student interested in attending Phoenix High School as a full-time student in 2011 - 2012 must pre-register online to attend one of the New Parent/Student Orientation sessions in order to obtain a registration appointment. ~ read more . . . .

Attention Students/Parents: Students, if you are currently attending an alternative school or serving a suspension from another school, you may not register for an orientation while attending the alternative school or serving a suspension. Gwinnett County Board of Education Rules apply if you are suspended from school. During the term of suspension from Gwinnett County Schools you are NOT ALLOWED on any Gwinnett County School property or at any school sponsored event.

Plan to attend the Orientation that you pre-registered for.
When you pre-register online, if the date that you wish to attend is
no longer available as an option, select another date.

To enroll as a full-time student at Phoenix High School:

• You must officially withdraw from your previous home school.
• You must be at least 16 years of age AND have attended at least one year of high school.
• You must be in good standing with your current high school. (i.e. You may not attend Phoenix if you currently serving a suspension).
• Once enrolled at Phoenix you will not be permitted to re-enroll at your home school until either January or August.

New students will need the following to register:

• A copy of student's school records (transcript, immunization, HVD, discipline records).
• Proof of Gwinnett County residency (two forms required: a current utility bill and a lease agreement, property tax bill, etc.).
• A withdrawal form from the last schools attended (if withdrawn) or a letter of intent to withdraw signed by school counselor / administrator.
• If a student is under 18 years of age, a parent or legal guardian must accompany the student.

7th Period Students

You attend another school full time and you wish to take one or two classes at Phoenix.

To enroll as a 7th period student at Phoenix High School:

• All registration will take place online. Meet with your counselor for registration information.
• Some classes have required prerequisite courses. Check with your counselor to make certain you have met the required prerequisites.
• You must pay for the class ($210 per class) at the time of registration online.
• You may register for classes based on the schedule below:
