Congratulations to our top ranked juniors on their academic accomplishments! |
The Georgia Certificate of Merit is awarded in recognition of outstanding scholastic achievement throughout the first three years of high school. To qualify for this prestigious award, nominees must rank in the top five percent of their junior class and be enrolled in a college preparatory curriculum. Established in 1959, the Certificate of Merit program, through the University of Georgia and the Georgia State Department of Education, honors high school juniors across the state of Georgia. It has been the tradition at Phoenix High School to honor these students with a luncheon with the principal.
Congratulations to Phoenix’s 2010-2011
